Basketball Recap: Checotah Takes a Loss

Checotah lost against Sallisaw back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Checotah Wildcats fell 55-48 to the Sallisaw Black Diamonds. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Checotah's defeat dropped their record down to 2-17. As for Sallisaw, their victory bumped their record up to 9-12.

Checotah and Sallisaw could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Oklahoma Rankings. Checotah will square off against Muldrow at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday down 255 places (347 vs. 92). Meanwhile, Sallisaw (ranked 251st) will meet Stilwell (ranked 55th) at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
