Preview: Stillwater Pioneers vs. Choctaw Yellowjackets
The Stillwater Pioneers will be playing in front of their home fans against the Choctaw Yellowjackets at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Stillwater will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Oklahoma Rankings (they are ranked 250th, while Choctaw is ranked third).
Stillwater suffered their biggest loss since December 19, 2023 on Tuesday. They were beaten by Broken Arrow 62-34. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Stillwater has scored all season.
Meanwhile, Choctaw put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They breezed by Southmoore at home to the tune of 75-37. Choctaw has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine contests by 22 points or more this season.
Stillwater has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost five of their last six matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-11 record this season. As for Choctaw, their victory was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-0.
