Softball Recap: Tom Bean Takes a Loss

Tom Bean fell victim to Whitewright and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They took a 3-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Tigers. The Tomcats' loss continues a trend for the team, making it seven in a row.

Tom Bean's defeat dropped their record down to 2-12. As for Whitewright, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season.

Tom Bean will take on Tioga at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. The Tomcats will need to watch out since the Bulldogs have now posted at least ten runs in their last three contests. As for Whitewright, they will face off against Honey Grove at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. The Warriors will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something the Tigers surely won't give up without a fight.
