Lancaster had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the eight-run drubbing they dealt Westmoreland on Tuesday. The Red Devils were the clear victors by a 9-1 margin over the Eagles. The Red Devils might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine contests by six runs or more this season.

Lancaster's win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 14-4. Those road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.6 runs on average over those games. As for Westmoreland, their loss dropped their record down to 3-7.

Lancaster will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Eagles: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
