Softball Recap: Harrison Comes Up Short

Harrison was the 7-0 winner over Noblesville when they last played one another back in June of 2025, but their luck changed this time around. The Raiders fell just short of the Millers by a score of 9-8 on Monday. The Raiders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Della Bossung was cooking despite her team's loss, firing off three home runs and six RBI while going 3-for-4. Jordan Perry also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.

Harrison's defeat dropped their record down to 5-3. As for Noblesville, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Harrison will challenge McCutcheon at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Raiders' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Mavericks have averaged an impressive 10.2 runs per game this season. As for Noblesville, they will take on Franklin Central at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. This will be the Millers' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
