Soccer Recap: Harbor Comes Up Short

Despite a strong season so far, Harbor has seen their luck take a bit of a downturn recently. They fell 2-0 to the Aptos Mariners on Wednesday. That's two games in a row now that the Pirates have lost by exactly two goals.

Harbor's defeat dropped their record down to 14-3. As for Aptos, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 12-4 record this season.

Looking ahead, Harbor will face off against Santa Cruz at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Aptos, they will take on Scotts Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Scotts Valley has a tough task ahead: they'll enter the contest with four straight losses, while Aptos will come in with six straight victories.
