Football Recap: Benbrook Bobcats vs. Mineral Wells Rams
Benbrook had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They walked away with a 35-24 victory over the Mineral Wells Rams on Friday. That's more bragging rights for the Bobcats, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.
Benbrook found their leader in sophomore Carlos Harris, who rushed for 105 yards and two touchdowns on only 14 carries. Benbrook also got a significant boost from Brady Gordon, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 82 yards.

The win made it two in a row for Benbrook and bumps their season record up to 10-1. As for Mineral Wells, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-4.
Benbrook is on the road again on Thursday to play Greenwood at 7:00 p.m. Greenwood will roll in looking for their tenth straight victory, something Benbrook surely won't give up without a fight. Mineral Wells does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
