Harrisburg won the last time they faced Pope County and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Bulldogs were the clear victors by an 11-0 margin over the Pirates. The Bulldogs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 12 games by six runs or more this season.

Harrisburg has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-7 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.8 runs over those games. As for Pope County, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-15.

Harrisburg has already played their next contest, a 4-0 defeat against Johnston City on the 15th. As for Pope County, they will take on Benton at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Pirates' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Rangers have averaged an impressive 7.7 runs per game this season.
