Six games will be played at the home of Major League Baseball’s San Diego Padres in the John Baumgarten Classic.

While the San Diego Padres are playing in Houston, Petco Park will be home to the John Baumgarten Classic on April 17 and 19. Over those two days, 12 high school baseball teams from the San Diego area will battle it out on the same diamond that MLB stars Fernando Tatis Jr. and Manny Machado call home.

Thursday's lineup includes Borrego Springs vs. Vincent Memorial (Calexico) at 1 p.m., Valley Center vs. Ramona at 4 p.m. and Brawley vs. Holtville at 7 p.m.

La Jolla and San Diego open Saturday's action at 10 a.m. Grossmont (El Cajon) vs. Steele Canyon (Spring Valley) follows at 1 p.m. and finally Rock Academy (San Diego) vs. Calvin Christian (Escondido) at 7 p.m.
