Soccer Game Preview: North Mac vs. Lincoln

North Mac hasn't had much luck against Lincoln recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Panthers are taking a road trip to square off against the Railsplitters at 4:30 p.m. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

North Mac was handed a three-goal loss in their previous outing, but that didn't affect their clutch gene on Saturday. They had just enough and edged out Riverton/Tri-City 1-0. The victory was a breath of fresh air for North Mac as it put an end to their four-match losing streak.

Meanwhile, Lincoln came up short against Auburn on Saturday, falling 10-1. That's two games in a row now that Lincoln have lost by exactly nine goals.

Lincoln's defeat dropped their record down to 2-9-1. As for North Mac, their win bumped their record up to 4-6.

North Mac got the 'W' in their previous matchup back in March against Lincoln by a conclusive 4-0 score. Will the Panthers repeat their success, or do the Railsplitters have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
