Football Recap: Manual Comes Up Short

Manual was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They were beaten by the Peoria Lions 76-6. While losing is never fun, the Rams can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois football rankings (they are ranked 409th, while the Lions are ranked 50th).

Manual's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Peoria, their win bumped their record up to 3-1.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Manual will face off against rival Normal Community at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Peoria is set to challenge their familiar foe Normal West at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
