Soccer Game Preview: Roxborough vs. Boys' Latin Charter

The Roxborough Wolves will face off against the Boys' Latin Charter Warriors at 3:15 p.m. on Friday.

Roxborough is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to seven goals back in September, they were much more limited against Jules E. Mastbaum Vo-Tech on Wednesday. They lost 4-1 to the Panthers. The contest was a 1-1 toss-up at halftime, but Roxborough couldn't quite close it out.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Boys' Latin Charter). They were the clear victors by a 5-1 margin over High School of the Future on Thursday. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for Boys' Latin Charter considering their one-goal performance the matchup before.

Boys' Latin Charter's victory bumped their record up to 3-4. As for Roxborough, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 4-1.

Everything went Roxborough's way against Boys' Latin Charter in their previous matchup back in September of 2024, as Roxborough made off with a 9-0 win. Will Wolves repeat their success, or do the Warriors have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
