Basketball Game Preview: Echols County Wildcats vs. Irwin County Indians

Echols County hasn't had much luck against Irwin County recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Wildcats will welcome the Indians at 7:30 p.m. Irwin County took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Echols County, who comes in off a win.

Fans were treated to a battle of the Wildcats on Thursday. Echols County came out on top against Crisp Academy by a score of 63-52.

Meanwhile, Irwin County took a blow against Brooks County on Saturday, falling 74-45.

Echols County's win ended a four-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 5-10. As for Irwin County, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-12.

Echols County barely slipped by Irwin County when the teams last played on January 9th, winning 61-60. Will the Wildcats repeat their success, or do the Indians have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
