Emmett was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They fell just short of the Yamhill-Carlton/Gaston Tigers by a score of 9-7.
Bryson Kellam made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run while going 2-for-3. Jase Bade was another key contributor, scoring a run while going 1-for-3.
Emmett's loss dropped their record down to 3-5.
Emmett will head out on the road to take on Boise at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Boise will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Emmett surely won't give up without a fight. Yamhill-Carlton/Gaston does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
