Hope Christian had already won four in a row and they went ahead and made it five on Tuesday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Valencia Jaguars. This was payback for the Huskies, who suffered a 3-2 loss the last time these two teams met.

Hope Christian had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 21-25, 25-19, 25-21, 25-19.

Hope Christian's victory bumped their record up to 10-4. As for Valencia, their defeat ended a three-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-4.

Hope Christian and Valencia will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Huskies are set to square off against their familiar foe Bernalillo at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Valencia will take on rival Grants at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
