Hope Christian came tearing into Tuesday's matchup with four straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Valencia Jaguars by a score of 3-1. For the Huskies, this counts as revenge for the 3-2 victory the Jaguars walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2024.

Hope Christian had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 21-25, 25-19, 25-21, 25-19.

Monique Chavez and Christelle Pacheco certainly did their best on Tuesday to avoid the loss. Chavez had 13 digs and one assist, while Pacheco had ten digs. Chavez is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 13 or more in each of the last three games she's played.

Hope Christian's win bumped their record up to 10-4. As for Valencia, their loss ended a three-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-4.

Hope Christian didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Bernalillo on the 7th. As for Valencia, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-1 win against Grants on the 7th.
