Mulkey has garnered national headlines over the past two years as a member of USA Basketball's youth national programs and a 2014-15 state championship team at Cypress Woods.

My Giant Life will follow Mulkey, attempting to put viewers in her shoes as she overcomes practical challenges and manages the curiosities of classmates and strangers.

Committed to Oklahoma, Mulkey averaged 10.3 points, 7.1 rebounds and 3.7 blocked shots per game as a junior last season for Cypress Woods. The Wildcats were a balanced squad with three other surefire Division I recruits in the starting lineup.

Mulkey told Hernandez that she has the same sensitivities and insecurities as other teenage girls, but owns a positive overall outlook on her attention-grabbing height.

"I wouldn't have the opportunities I have now if I wasn't tall," Mulkey said to Hernandez.
