Basketball Game Preview: Thornton Fractional South Red Wolves vs. Bogan Bengals

The Thornton Fractional South Red Wolves will face off against the Bogan Bengals at 11:30 a.m. on Sunday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Last Friday, Thornton Fractional South came up short against Oak Lawn and fell 56-47. The Red Wolves haven't had much luck with the Spartans recently, as the team's come up short the last eight times they've met.

Meanwhile, Bogan was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. They took a 63-48 bruising from Little Village. While losing is never fun, the Bengals can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 563rd, while the Phoenix are ranked 252nd).

Thornton Fractional South's loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 5-1 and their overall record down to 9-9. As for Bogan, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-18.
