Soccer Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Sierra Linda

Sierra Linda's and Kellis's contest on Tuesday was close at halftime, but Sierra Linda turned on the heat in the second half with six goals. The Sierra Linda Bulldogs put the hurt on the Kellis Cougars with a sharp 8-1 win. It was an even better day for Alex Mendivil as he scored three goals for his team.

The victory (which was Sierra Linda's third in a row) raised their record to 5-2. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 14 goals over those three matches. As for Kellis, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sierra Linda will host North at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
