Soccer Recap: Howell North Takes a Loss

After soaring to five goals the game before, Howell North was a bit more limited in their game on Tuesday. They came up short against the Howell Central Spartans, falling 5-1. The defeat continues a trend for Howell North in their meetings with Howell Central: they've now lost nine in a row.

Howell North's goal came courtesy of Addison Butler, who's now up to four this season.

Howell North's loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 10-8-1. As for Howell Central, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-6-2 record this season.

Howell North does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Howell Central, they didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 1-0 defeat against Ursuline Academy on the 22nd.
