Volleyball Recap: Shakopee Takes a Loss

Shakopee was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They came up short against the Rosemount Irish, falling 3-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Sabers of the 3-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Shakopee's defeat dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Rosemount, their win ended a three-match drought on the road and puts them at 8-9.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Shakopee will face off against rival Farmington at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Rosemount is set to square off against their familiar foe Lakeville South at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
