Volleyball Recap: West Hardin Takes a Loss

West Hardin suffered their biggest defeat since October 8, 2024 on Tuesday. They lost 3-0 to the Kountze Lions. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Lions this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 last Thursday.

The final score came out to 25-15, 25-15, 25-18.

Among those leading the charge was Piper Wade, who had seven digs and three aces. That's the most digs she has posted over her last two games.

West Hardin's loss dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Kountze, their victory ended a seven-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 9-1.

West Hardin didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-1 defeat against Evadale on the 21st. As for Kountze, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Alief Hastings on the 21st.
