Softball Game Preview: Jim Thorpe Olympians vs. Northwestern Lehigh Tigers

The Jim Thorpe Olympians will head out to face off against the Northwestern Lehigh Tigers at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday. The squads are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: Jim Thorpe has struggled recently with five losses in a row, while Northwestern Lehigh will arrive with nine straight wins.

Monday just wasn't the day for Jim Thorpe's offense. They came up short against Southern Lehigh on Monday, falling 15-0.

Pen Argyl typically has all the answers at home, but on Monday Northwestern Lehigh proved too difficult a challenge. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Green Knights a 5-0 shutout.
