Softball Game Preview: Ridgeview Ravens vs. Bend Lava Bears

The Ridgeview Ravens will take on the Bend Lava Bears on Friday. The two teams each escaped (but just barely!) with wins against their previous opponents.

Ridgeview is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged out North Eugene 2-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Ravens.

Meanwhile, Bend posted their closest victory since April 7th on Tuesday. They skirted past La Salle 8-6.

Ridgeview's win was their 17th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 23-1. As for Bend, their victory bumped their record up to 16-12-1.

Ridgeview took their win against Bend in their previous meeting on May 13th by a conclusive 11-1 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Ravens since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
