Baseball Recap: Waldwick Comes Up Short

Waldwick was the 3-2 winner over Lyndhurst when they last played one another back in April of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Warriors took an 8-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Golden Bears on Tuesday. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Waldwick's defeat dropped their record down to 7-7. As for Lyndhurst, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season.

Waldwick will venture away from home to face off against Wallington at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Lyndhurst, they will welcome Pompton Lakes at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday. The Cardinals will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something the Golden Bears surely won't give up without a fight.
