Football Recap: Pelham Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Pelham played a tough match on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They had to suffer through a 42-7 loss at the hands of the Chiles Timberwolves. While losing is never fun, the Hornets can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' football rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 331st in Georgia, while the Timberwolves are ranked 138th in Florida).

Aubrey Flury threw for 124 yards and one TD on only 11 passes. Braylee Taylor was his top target, picking up 71 receiving yards and one touchdown.

Chiles had a senior duo take command as Gerald Clark rushed for 101 yards and one score on only five carries and Gavin Ford threw for 124 yards and three TDs while completing 85.7% of his passes.

Pelham's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Chiles, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Coming up, Pelham will face off against Valwood at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Chiles, they will challenge Wakulla at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
