Basketball Recap: Monday's Win Is Vision's Fourth in Last Five Outings

Idaho City came into Monday's game looking for another win against Vision, but Raelynn Nickel wouldn't allow it. Vision walked away with a 46-35 victory over the Idaho City Wildcats on Monday thanks in part to Nickel, who dropped a triple-double on 32 points, ten boards, and ten steals. That's the most boards she has posted since back in January of 2024.

Vision is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 6-7 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 29.6 points per game. As for Idaho City, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Vision will face off against Compass Charter at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Idaho City, they will welcome Centennial Baptist at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Idaho City is facing Centennial Baptist at the right time seeing as Centennial Baptist is stuck on a six-game losing streak.
