Basketball Recap: Dowagiac Takes a Loss

Dowagiac came into their game on Friday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They had to suffer through a 65-23 loss at the hands of the Buchanan Bucks. The defeat continues a trend for the Chieftains in their meetings with the Bucks: they've now lost five in a row.

Dowagiac's loss dropped their record down to 3-12. As for Buchanan, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 8-7.

Coming up, Dowagiac will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Hackett Catholic Prep at 7:00 p.m. As for Buchanan, they will head out to take on Kalamazoo Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
