Volleyball Recap: Unity Christian Takes a Loss

Unity Christian lost against Model back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Lions fell 2-0 to the Blue Devils.

Unity Christian was the model of consistency in the loss, scoring 18 points in every single set they played. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-18.

Lyla Ellison paced Unity Christian's offense, picking up five kills. Ellison got some help from Ella Claire Goodwin and her ten assists.

Unity Christian has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-8 record this season. As for Model, the win was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 12-1.

Unity Christian didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Haralson County on the 23rd. As for Model, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-1 defeat against Woodstock on the 23rd.
