Glencoe won the last time they faced Cherokee County and things went their way on Friday too. The Glencoe Yellowjackets put the hurt on the Cherokee County Warriors with a sharp 5-2 victory. The result was nothing new for the Yellowjackets, who have now won six games by three goals or more so far this season.

The win made it two in a row for Glencoe and bumps their season record up to 6-2. That said, the team wasn't facing the toughest opposition over that stretch, as it included 0-6 Pennington and 3-5 Cherokee County. As for Cherokee County, their defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-5.

Coming up, Glencoe will venture away from home to challenge Pennington at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Cherokee County, they will face off against Collinsville at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Cherokee County has given up an average of 4 goals per game this season, so hopefully the team got some defensive drills in this week.
