Sheldon had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 4 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged out the Roseburg Indians 3-1. This was payback for the Irish, who suffered a 4-3 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Sheldon now has a winning record of 6-5-1. As for Roseburg, the loss snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 5-2 record.

Sheldon will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Indians: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
