It was a good run, but Westfield Area unfortunately witnessed the end of their nine-game winning streak on Tuesday. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 40-39 to the Wisconsin Dells Chiefs. The Pioneers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Chiefs earlier this season, when they won 58-44.

Westfield Area's loss ended a 15-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 16-3. As for Wisconsin Dells, their victory bumped their record up to 13-2.

Westfield Area will challenge Marshfield at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Marshfield will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something Westfield Area surely won't give up without a fight. As for Wisconsin Dells, they will venture away from home to square off against Mount Horeb at 4:10 p.m. on Saturday.
