Basketball Game Preview: Boulder Creek Jaguars vs. O'Connor Eagles

Boulder Creek is 0-10 against O'Connor since January of 2020 but things could change on Friday. The Boulder Creek Jaguars will take on the O'Connor Eagles at 7:00 p.m.

Boulder Creek is headed into the match out to prove that what happened against Apollo on Tuesday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Boulder Creek came up short against Apollo, falling 53-27. The Jaguars were down 45-19 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

Meanwhile, O'Connor blew past Liberty, posting a 72-45 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Eagles.

O'Connor is also on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a massive bump to their 8-7 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.0 points per game. As for Boulder Creek, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-13.

Boulder Creek was dealt a bruising 80-16 loss at the hands of O'Connor when the teams last played back in January of 2024. That contest was all but decided by halftime, at which point Boulder Creek was down 61-12.
