Softball Recap: Attica Snaps Six-Game Streak of Losses on the Road

Attica hadn't done well against Seeger recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Red Ramblers blew past the Patriots 7-1. The Red Ramblers not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since April 29th (when they won 13-3).

Anni Reynolds made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run while striking out nine over seven innings pitched. Those nine strikeouts gave her a new career-high. She was also big at the plate, going 1-for-4 with two RBI and one double.

In other batting news, Maddie Beck was incredible, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base. Aleah Cruz was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI.

Attica's victory ended a six-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-13. As for Seeger, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-17 record this season.

Attica will have a chance to go back-to-back against Seeger: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
