Soccer Recap: Mt. Pleasant Continues Road Dominance on Tuesday

Mt. Pleasant's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They put the hurt on Texas with a sharp 3-0 win. The score was close at the half, but Mt. Pleasant pulled away in the second half with two goals.

Mt. Pleasant pushed their record up to 10-4 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 17 goals over those four contests. As for Texas, their loss dropped their record down to 6-6.

Coincidentally, Mt. Pleasant and Texas will both be playing Marshall the next time they take the pitch. Texas will head out to face Marshall at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, while Mt. Pleasant will host them at 7:00 p.m. on March 4th.
