Volleyball Recap: Durfee Takes a Loss

Durfee lost to North Quincy back in April of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Hilltoppers lost 3-0 to the Raiders. The Hilltoppers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

While Durfee was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. The final score came out to 25-10, 25-22, 25-7.

Frank Pichardo paced Durfee's offense, picking up eight kills. Pichardo got some help from Mathayus Medeiros and his 13 assists. Medeiros was also solid from the service line: he led the team with three aces.

Durfee's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for North Quincy, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.

Durfee wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against Quincy on the 9th. North Quincy has also already played their next matchup (against Hingham), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
