Soccer Recap: Stevens Extends Winning Streak to Three

Stevens kept a clean sheet against Winnisquam on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Bears by a score of 2-0. The final result isn't all that surprising considering Stevens' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' New Hampshire soccer rankings (they are ranked 20th, while Winnisquam are ranked 66th).

The win (which was Stevens' third in a row) raised their record to 5-1-4. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored eight goals over those three matches. As for Winnisquam, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-8 record this season.

Coincidentally, Stevens and Winnisquam will both be playing Prospect Mountain the next time they take the pitch. The Cardinals will head out to face the Timberwolves at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Bears will host them at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
