Whitney waltzed into their match on Wednesday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They walked away with a 55-47 win over the Del Oro Golden Eagles. The Wildcats have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Golden Eagles, too.

Whitney's victory bumped their record up to 13-3. As for Del Oro, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-8.

Whitney will welcome Jesuit at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Whitney is on a seven-game streak of home wins (dating back to last season), Jesuit a four-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the court. As for Del Oro, they will head out on the road to take on Rocklin at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
