Medfield came tearing into Friday's matchup with six straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They put the hurt on the Hopkinton Hillers with a sharp 3-0 victory. The Warriors were shut out 3-0 the last time they took on the Hillers, so the Warriors were just returning the favor.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Medfield was: they took every set by at least ten points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-15, 25-14.

Kendall Larkin paced Medfield's offense, picking up eight kills. Larkin got some help from Ava Pender and her 25 assists. Larkin was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

Hopkinton's loss came despite strong showings from Gabby Pattie and Sydney Stephen. Pattie had six digs and two aces, while Stephen had seven digs and one assist. Pattie has been hot recently, having also posted 17 or more assists the last three times she's played.

Medfield's win bumped their record up to 10-1. As for Hopkinton, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-2.

Medfield has already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Holliston on the 29th. As for Hopkinton, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-2 loss against Westborough on the 29th.
