Preview: San Jacinto Tigers vs. Perris Panthers
The San Jacinto Tigers will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against the Perris Panthers at 5:30 p.m. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the pair posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.
Last Thursday, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, San Jacinto beat Tahquitz 59-53. That's two games straight that San Jacinto has won by exactly six points.
Meanwhile, Perris unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Thursday. They lost to Citrus Hill on the road by a decisive 70-56 margin.
The victory makes it two in a row for San Jacinto and bumps their season record up to 10-8. As for Perris, their loss dropped their record down to 5-15.
San Jacinto came out on top in a nail-biter against Perris when the teams last played back in December of 2023, sneaking past 59-57. Does San Jacinto have another victory up their sleeve, or will Perris turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
