Basketball Recap: Pioneer Tech & Arts Academy Takes a Loss

Pioneer Tech & Arts Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 23rd straight loss dating back to last season. They were dealt a 104-28 defeat at the hands of the Boles Hornets. Pioneer Tech & Arts Academy was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 43-10.

Boles got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Zion Mcfadden out in front who went 11 of 25 en route to 26 points along with eight rebounds and six steals. Mcfadden's evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Gavin Williams, who dropped a triple-double on 18 points, ten boards, and ten steals.

Pioneer Tech & Arts Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-19. As for Boles, the win got them back to even at 12-12.

Pioneer Tech & Arts Academy will face off against Cooper at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Boles, they will take on North Hopkins at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Boles is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 57.6 points per game this season.
