Softball Recap: Coral Reef Falls Short of West Broward in the Playoffs

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Coral Reef can now relate to. They came up short against the West Broward Bobcats on Tuesday, falling 11-1. The pitching woes were uncharacteristic for the Barracudas, who until this matchup were averaging 2.22 runs allowed.

Coral Reef saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brianna Fields, who went 1-for-3 with one run and one double.

Coral Reef moved to 20-7 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak. As for West Broward, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 18-7.
