Volleyball Recap: Rockville Beats Ellington for Their Third Straight Win

Rockville had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Monday. They came out on top against the Ellington Knights by a score of 3-1. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

Rockville had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 21-25, 25-17, 25-12, 25-18.

Caroline Burg paced Rockville's offense, picking up 24 kills. Burg got some help from Adalyn Ageyman and her 34 assists. Jordyn Grant controlled things from the service line, finishing with six aces.

Rockville's victory bumped their record up to 12-2. As for Ellington, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-4.

Rockville wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-1 win against Bolton on the 7th. Ellington has also already played their next match (against Hartford Magnet Trinity College Academy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
