Volleyball Recap: Baker Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Baker was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They came up short against the Melba Mustangs, falling 3-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Bulldogs have suffered since October 22, 2024.

Baker was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the first set very close. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-14, 25-21.

Baker's defeat dropped their record down to 3-13. As for Melba, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season.

Baker will challenge Nyssa at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Melba, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 3-2 loss against Burns on the 18th.
