Basketball Game Preview: Pembroke Spartans vs. Lebanon Raiders

The Pembroke Spartans will face off against the Lebanon Raiders at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Lebanon took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Pembroke, who comes in off a win.

Pembroke is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of New Hampshire's top teams: Oyster River, who was ranked 17th at the time (Pembroke was ranked 19th). Pembroke managed a 60-56 win over Oyster River on Friday.

Meanwhile, Lebanon was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 44-35 hit to the loss column at the hands of Bishop Brady. The game marked the Raiders' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Pembroke is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 7-2 record this season. As for Lebanon, they now have a losing record at 3-4.

Pembroke took their victory against Lebanon in their previous matchup back in December of 2023 by a conclusive 61-35. Does Pembroke have another victory up their sleeve, or will Lebanon turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
