Volleyball Recap: Crete-Monee Find Success

Crete-Monee lost to Rich Township back in October of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Saturday. The Warriors narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Raptors 2-1.

Crete-Monee can attribute much of their success to Isis Shores, who had six digs and two aces.

Shores wasn't the only good server: Crete-Monee was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 12 aces. That's the most aces they've posted since back in October of 2024.

Crete-Monee's record is now 4-2. As for Rich Township, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-3.

Crete-Monee has already played their next game, a 2-1 defeat against Thornton Fractional South on the 6th. As for Rich Township, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Aurora East on the 6th.
