Football Recap: Vista Ridge Starts Season with Win at Home + How To Watch

Vista Ridge took care of business in their home opener on Friday. They came out on top against the Columbine Rebels by a score of 24-14. For the Wolves, this counts as revenge for the 42-7 win the Rebels walked away with the last time they faced one another back in September of 2024.

Vista Ridge can attribute much of their success to Colton Camba, who threw for 117 yards and a pair of TDs, and also rushed for 31 yards.

Despite the loss, Columbine still got an impressive performance from Mark Snyder, who rushed for 218 yards and one touchdown while picking up 8.7 yards per carry. Snyder really tore up the turf during one magnificent 73-yard run.

Vista Ridge and Columbine should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Colorado Rankings. The Wolves (ranked eighth) will meet Montbello (ranked 183rd) at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Columbine will square off against ThunderRidge at 4:00 p.m. on Friday with a big rank advantage (9 vs. 44).
