Volleyball Recap: Moon Valley Comes Up Short

Moon Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Paradise Honors Panthers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Rockets of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-10, 25-12.

Enedina Virgil Macey paced Moon Valley's offense, picking up five kills. Virgil Macey got some help from Regina Roman Angulo and her four assists.

Moon Valley's loss dropped their record down to 10-12. As for Paradise Honors, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-11 record this season.

Moon Valley will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Goldwater at 6:00 p.m. on the 14th. As for Paradise Honors, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-1 loss against Thunderbird on the 2nd.
