Basketball Game Preview: Judson Rockets vs. Clemens Buffaloes

The Judson Rockets will take on the Clemens Buffaloes at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Judson knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past four matchups -- so hopefully Clemens likes a good challenge.

On Tuesday, everything came up roses for Judson against Johnson as the squad secured a 72-36 victory. Given the Rockets' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 192nd, while the Jaguars are ranked 525th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Clemens lost to East Central at home by a 58-44 margin on Tuesday.

Clemens' defeat dropped their record down to 16-10. As for Judson, their win bumped their record up to 11-14.

Things could have been worse for Judson, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 55-41 loss to Clemens when the teams last played back in February of 2024.
