Basketball Recap: Connell Skates Past Granger with Ease

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Cashmere, Connell was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They blew past the Granger Spartans 59-24. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Eagles considering their 19-point performance the contest before.

Connell's victory ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-9. As for Granger, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 11 of their last 12 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-15 record this season.

Connell will be playing at home against Naches Valley at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Naches Valley will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something Connell surely won't give up without a fight. Granger has already played their next matchup (against River View), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
